All-Inclusive Packages Simplify Your Wedding Day Planning
Planning a wedding from across the state — or even across town — takes time you may not have. When searching for a wedding venue in Grand Junction, the vendor pool is smaller than Denver or the Front Range. Finding a caterer, florist, DJ, and coordinator who are all free on your date can eat up weeks of evenings and weekends. An all-inclusive package replaces five to eight separate vendor contracts with one. You sign once, pay on a clear schedule, and let our events coordinator handle the details. That means fewer emails, fewer deposits to track, and fewer last-minute surprises.
For couples planning from Fruita, Palisade, or anywhere along the I-70 corridor, this setup removes a real logistical headache. You spend less time managing vendors and more time looking forward to your day.
Budget-Friendly Weddings Start with the Right Package in Grand Junction
Wedding costs add up fast when every vendor sends a separate invoice. A bundled package lets you see your total spend upfront — food, bar, setup, coordination, and rentals in one number.Mesa County's cost of living runs well below Denver or Aspen, making Redlands Mesa an affordable wedding venue without sacrificing quality or scenery. That difference shows up in venue and catering rates here on the Western Slope. At Redlands Mesa, intimate weddings for up to 80 guests start at $2,000 for the venue fee in winter, with food and bar minimums beginning at $5,500. Tented weddings for larger groups start at $6,000 for the venue in shoulder season.
Our payment structure is straightforward. A $2,000 non-refundable deposit secures your date. Seventy percent of the estimated total is due 60 days out. The final balance is due 14 days before your event. No hidden service charges appear after you sign.
If your food and bar spending does not reach the minimum, the difference is applied as a venue fee — so you always know your floor. That kind of clarity helps couples on a $12,000–$22,000 budget plan with confidence instead of anxiety.
What a Typical All-Inclusive Wedding Package Includes
"All-inclusive" can mean different things depending on the venue. Here is what it means at Redlands Mesa.
Your venue fee covers ceremony and reception space, tables and chairs, white tablecloths, china, silverware, glassware, ceremony seating setup, full setup and teardown staffing, and day-of coordination. For tented weddings of 80 or more guests, tent rental is included in the venue fee.
Food and bar service is handled by our in-house kitchen, Ocotillo Restaurant + Bar. You choose from buffet options like prime rib dinners, Southwest taco bars, stuffed chicken breast, Italian pasta bars, and BBQ spreads. Vegetarian substitutes such as portobello steaks and eggplant parm are available on request.
Appetizers range from artisan charcuterie boards to ahi wontons and chorizo-stuffed bacon-wrapped dates. Dessert options include layered cakes, cannolis, cheesecake bites, and lemon tartlets.
Bar packages are flexible — open bar, cash bar, or drink tickets. Add-ons like mimosa bars, signature cocktails, and champagne toasts are available.
The outdoor ceremony space overlooks the golf course with canyon and red rock views behind it. You get the dramatic Western Colorado backdrop without booking a separate ceremony site.
Small Weddings and Elopements Fit Perfectly on the Western Slope
Not every couple needs 200 seats and a tent. If your guest list is 80 or fewer, our intimate wedding package is built for you.
Indoor or outdoor ceremonies work for smaller groups without a tent. Winter dates from November through February start at $2,000 for the venue and $5,500 for the food and bar minimum. That puts a full-service wedding — catering, coordination, setup, and teardown — within reach for couples who want quality without paying for space they will not use.
The Western Slope rewards small weddings. Colorado National Monument is a short drive from our venue for photos. The Grand Mesa offers a second dramatic backdrop for couples who want variety in their wedding gallery. Your guests will remember the landscape as much as the ceremony.
Scaled-down packages also mean faster planning. Fewer place settings, simpler timelines, and a more personal feel from start to finish.
Choosing the Best Season to Book Your Grand Junction Wedding
Grand Junction gets over 300 days of sunshine a year, but each season comes with trade-offs worth knowing.
September and October are peak demand months. Temperatures cool into the 70s and 80s, the cottonwoods along the Colorado River turn gold, and the Palisade vineyards are in harvest. Book 10–14 months ahead for these dates.
May through August offer long daylight and clear skies, but afternoon heat can climb above 95°F. Many summer couples shift to evening-only timelines. Our tented setup includes the flexibility to plan around the warmest hours.
November through February are the quietest months. Venue fees drop to $2,000 for intimate weddings, and open dates are easier to secure at 6–8 months out. Winter light over the Monument is stunning for photos, and the cooler air makes indoor-outdoor flow comfortable.
March and April sit in shoulder season. Rates fall between peak and winter pricing, and the weather is mild enough for outdoor ceremonies without the summer heat.
Your events coordinator can walk you through availability for any season during a complimentary consultation.
How to Know Your All-Inclusive Package Covers Everything You Need
Before you sign any venue contract in Grand Junction, run through this short checklist.
- Venue space: Does the fee include both ceremony and reception areas, or is the ceremony site an add-on?
- Catering and bar: Is food prepared in-house or outsourced? Are bar packages included or quoted separately?
- Rentals: Are tables, chairs, linens, china, and glassware part of the base price?
- Staffing: Does the package include setup, teardown, and day-of coordination?
- Backup plan: If you are booking an outdoor ceremony, is an indoor rain or wind option available?
- Cake service: Some venues charge a per-person cake cutting fee. At Redlands Mesa, the fee is $5 per person if you bring an outside cake. Cakes purchased through Ocotillo have no cutting fee.
- Bar licensing: Colorado liquor regulations require specific permits. Confirm bar service is fully licensed at whichever venue you choose, whether it is in the Redlands, downtown Grand Junction, or Fruita.
If a venue cannot answer these questions clearly, that is worth noting. Transparent pricing and a written breakdown of what is and is not included will save you from budget surprises later.
