Insert it around the edge of the mark, push inward from all sides, and smooth out the surface with your putter. Rake the Sand Traps

After you play a shot from a bunker, rake the sand. Smooth out your footprints and any marks your shot left behind. Hang the rake outside the bunker when you're done. It only takes a moment and it means the next player who ends up in that trap faces a fair lie instead of a pit you left behind.

Stay Out of Other Players' Lines
